THE WOE OF LIFE

It’s a story of late 90s, there was a group of four jokers named Rick, William. Shawn and Jack. They work in a famous circus of the city. Rick, Willian, and Shawn were good acrobats with fine appearances while Jack was strikingly gorgeous with the height above 6 feet and stunning nature. He had a dark bristly moustache, curly dark brown hair, and a stellar smile. His eyes were a fire with passion. At sight first, people think him as a model, but he chose to the clown as he loves to make people laugh. His partners were so envious of him because of his drop-dead gorgeous character that catches people’s heart The audience always gave him special response and affection and support him by cheering out loud whenever he comes to stage, while his partners were just fine to audience.

It was a night before their grand show, they all were practicing hardly for it, all of a sudden, their manager came to them shouting and ranting. He was aggressively clenching his fist. “How could you guys be so dense enough to bring those snakes in auditorium without any safety measure taken”? bawled the Manager. He told them that the public has become extremely frightened as one the snakes tried to injure a young boy and the city administration banned their show for a week. Moreover, they must pay a fine of $500. Manager accused all of them for the penalty and went out after warning them. As soon as  the manager gone, the 3 boys began yelling at Jack and blamed him for the disturbance and upheaval created and told him that he would not be working with them anymore due his stupidity which led all of them in trouble. It was his idea to bring snakes in the show to make it more astonishing, but the things became worst. He tried to defend himself and said it was only for entertainment purpose and not for intention to hurt somebody but those 3, who were burning in the fire of envy and jealousy, could not find any other good chance to kick him out so they kept criticizing him till he finally left the room and went outside to escape, in search of  peace. He was very dishearten by virtue of his partners’ behavior. He wanted to spend some time alone to make himself normal and calm. He sat under an old tree and kept silent for a while. He was all unaware what unforeseen turn his life is about to take!

It was the coldest night of December and the snow from yesterday was covering the whole environment. The night was not only alone but calm, chill and awakening. An icy silence was all around, trees were stiff and frozen. The snow sparkled like a thousand diamonds under the moonlight.  Jack was sitting alone under the tree, thinking about the past scenes. Nobody could dare to stay outside in that rough weather, but it was Jack, a man of immense strength and bold courage, he kept sitting there.  About after 15 minutes, unexpectedly, it started drizzling which gave surroundings a glorious view. Jack forgot everything and lost in that beautiful scenario. After a while he got up and decided to go hotel to enjoy some tea and music in this chill weather. He started looking for a hotel. He barely walked some steps and suddenly stopped. It was something which made him amazed. An overly alluring charming girl aged between 23-24 was standing beside a car on the roadside. Jack lost his senses and while looking at her. He could not take his eyes off. Shoulder length ruby-red hair, lilac soft lips, slender eyebrows were making her more gorgeous. Her enticing blue eyes gazed at him. He was hit with emotions and could not stop himself falling for her. Yeah! That was love at first sight. Jack lost his heart to that heavenly lady who was now become the queen of his heart. He started moving towards her. He was just there, close to her. He stopped walking, stopped breathing. The fragrance of her lavish and exotic perfume was driving him crazy. He felt, he would die that moment. She smiled-that smile! Her eyes were bluer than ice. He did not, could look away.

The air was thick coming down the smokey mountains, hanging heavily on jack’s shoulders as he leaned his body across the car. He wanted to talk her, to listen his sweet voice, to lost in her blue eyes, to catch her heart for him only, to be the only king of that queen, but it all shattered like a dream! The girl started running abruptly and got fade from his eyes. He was looking her running away. At that time, he was stunned. He could not realize what was going on. He just started feeling that the world is beautiful and now it all gone. It all went like a movie scene which got him back to reality. She was gone. Her charming princess was gone. He could not do anything. He came back to his senses and looked around. He did not take much time to perceive that the car had an accident and killed an old lady mercilessly and he was standing straight at the crime scene. He understood that the girl took the chance and ran away believing that the boy would be arrested if police came.

He walked away from there to escape the situation, unaware about what would happen next!

The Law of Wasted Effort

Do you know that lions only succeed in a quarter of their hunting attempts — which means they fail in 75% of their attempts and succeeds in only 25% of them. Despite this small percentage shared by most predators, they don't despair in their pursuit and hunting attempts.  The main reason for this is not because of hunger as some might think but it is the understanding of the “Law of Wasted Efforts” that have been instinctively built into animals, a law in which nature is governed.  Half of the eggs of fishes are eaten... half of the baby bears die before puberty... most of the world's rains fall in oceans... and most of the seeds of trees are eaten by birds.  Scientists have found that animals, trees, and other forces of nature are more receptive to the law of "wasted efforts".  Only humans think that the lack of success in a few attempts is failure... but the truth is that: we only fail when we "stop trying". Success is not to have a life free of pitfalls a...
